Is a mask a lie, or a necessary protection?
I envy the people who can leave their home worries behind the door when they leave their homes and their work stress in the office. In my eyes, this builds their super power. The power of not letting everything they feel show on their faces.
When I laugh, I do so with my entire being and my face shows it wholeheartedly. When I am down in the dumps, my face comes down there with me. Being angry is no secret to anyone.
I am not sure what bothers me more, the fact that I wear everything I feel on my sleeve (aka face), or the “well intended” advice I have been getting since childhood to “put up another face”. Does anyone know where I could get spares?
